With your support we can accomplish our Goals:

Renew our well worn equipment; tents, ropes, lanterns and the other essentials to make scout camping possible.

Have all of our scouts attend the 2 day Scout College where they can connect with merit badge counselors that are not otherwise available to them.

Participate in upcoming BSA District events and attend Summer Camp at Camp Roosevelt in July.

Camp once per month over the winter, maintain our permanent scout camps at Camp Cavanaro and our newest site in West Cape May; perfect our pumpkin chucking machine and continue with our many community service projects.

Your support will make a difference!

It is our philosophy at Troop 84 to help defray the costs in order to provide for the opportunities afforded by scouting.  While the young men are working hard to establish the needed funds themselves, any donations to the Troop would be very much appreciated.

We are not just looking for handouts… sponsorships, equipment donations and fundraising ideas are all welcome and much appreciated.

At Troop 84 we live by our maxim.  If you have ever seen our scouting trailer around town, you may have noticed our motto "Living the Scout Oath Daily".  It is not just a bunch of words to our scouts, and with your help , we can continue to make a difference for our scouts, our community and our future.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America and Troop 84 is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.  We also have a lot of fun...

Scout Oath
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly,
courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty,
brave, clean, and reverent.
