Troop 84 is a "boy led" troop. Over time,
the Scouts are given more and more responsibility in
leading various activities in the troop. As they
advance from one rank to another, they are assigned more
complex duties and more is expected of them.

Memorial Day Weekends 2007 - 2009: The
scouts placed flags on veterans' graves at St. Mary's
cemetery; participated in the USCG Sunset Parade and the
Veterans Memorial Service in Cape May. Many Thanks to
the scouts for giving up much of there holiday weekend
to honor our Veterans.
Over
the years, most scouts had worn out their
uniforms. Additionally, BSA changed the standard uniform
making it difficult to just replace items. By selling a
lot of hot dogs and sodas at the West Cape May Farmers
Market over the summer, the scouts earned enough money
to purchase all new uniforms. It
was their goal...and they met it...
Completed their annual litter clean up in West
Cape May.
Advancements:
This year, one of our Scouts became an Eagle, 5
scouts are working on Eagle, 3 scouts working on Life
and all other scouts continue to advance.
